Cardeify is an app in development for India. This notice explains how we handle the information you give us when you join the waitlist on this website.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- If you choose to answer: the cards you hold, whether you are a student, and the most you would pay per month.
- A record of when you gave your consent.
- A short record of each time you join, answer or leave: the time, the action, your email and your IP address.
Why we use it
To confirm that you joined, tell you when the beta opens, invite you to it, pick the beta group and plan pricing. We do not use it for advertising and we never sell it.
Who can see it
Only the Cardeify team, and the service providers that host this website and send our emails, which act on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside India. We do not share your information with banks, card issuers or advertisers.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security practices to protect your information. To stop spam, a Cloudflare check confirms that a person, not a bot, is using the form. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep it
Until the beta opens and invitations are sent, and no longer than 6 months after that. Then we delete it. If you leave earlier, we delete your entry at once. The short record of each action is kept for one year, as Indian law requires, and then deleted.
Your choices
You can withdraw your consent at any time with the Remove me link shown after you join and in every email from us. It deletes your entry straight away. You can also email privacy@cardeify.com from the address you signed up with to withdraw, to see, correct or delete your information, or to name someone to act for you. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Age
The waitlist is only for people aged 18 and over.
